![]() It is less often pointed out, however, that our age has generated, and continues to generate, mythical material almost unparalleled in quantity and quality in the rich records of human imagination. ![]() Recommended reading.Īmazon: It is readily acknowledged that our time has surpassed all epochs in history for the accumulation of technical knowledge, physical power over our environment, and economic might. Vallee's correlations between UFOs and folklore is just fascinating and this book is an absolute staple in the UFO community. I don't post those books here because this isn't what this sub is about, but this particular book crosses over between all kinds of different subjects, UFOs included. As well as the occult and esoteric I am very deeply interested in UFOs and alien beings. ![]()

The school bully the son has to deal with was ridiculously overacted, though. The teenage son, played by Ashton Holmes, also played a big role, clearly developing his arc based on his father's actions. The family dynamic was effectively established, especially between Mortensen and Bello. I had no prior knowledge going into this movie aside from the fact that it's on the list of YouTube film critic Chris Stuckmann's "50 movies of the 2000's to see before you die." I was immediately intrigued by the opening sequence involving the two robbers, and Mortensen and family reeled me in the rest of the way. Tom's life takes a turn when he stops two robbers attempting to murder his customers and steal his money. A History of Violence stars Viggo Mortensen as Tom Stall, a restaurant owner in small town Indiana living with his wife (Maria Bello) and two kids. ![]() ![]() Opal Moon (Pride of the Moon #6) by Ann Mayburn Tell It to a Marine (Always a Marine Book 3) by Heather Long Goalie Interference by Emily Cale & Angela Stoneĭare Me (Steele Brothers Book 3) by Jennifer Probst Retreat, Hell!
